Mike Tyson is selling ear-shaped weed edibles under his Tyson 2.0 brand ‘Mike Bites’, with enthusiasts already able to pick up the gummies in New York City.
Advertised as a ‘premier line of hemp products’, the sweets come in a range of flavors priced at £19.95 and promising a taste ‘that will leave you seeing stars’.
A callback to the Iron Mike’s infamous 1997 showdown with Evander Holyfield, in which saw Tyson disqualified for chewing off part of his opponent’s ear, the edibles reference his career as one of the foremost heavyweight boxers in the world, with names like Black Eye Berry and Sour Apple Punch.
Tyson said in a statement he was keen to ‘forge a new standard of excellence’ in offering legal cannabis supplements ‘utilized to enhance both mental and physical wellbeing’, while ‘prioritizing safety, quality and taste’.
It comes as the 57-year-old Brooklyn native prepares for his comeback fight against YouTuber Jake Paul, 27, in July, 19 years since he last competed.
